What Do We Do?

Communicare provides professional development opportunities, webinars, demo lessons and training sessions to help staff, administrators, and family members with strategies to effectively communicate with those experiencing Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.

Recent Highlights

We have developed an enriched interdisciplinary language-based program for building effective communication skills to increase engagement and meaningful interaction among older adults through intergenerational connections in video conferencing platforms.

What Motivates Us?

Communicare takes pride in creating intergenerational collaborative learning communities that brings together participants from different generations--from children and youth to working professionals and older adults -- to foster connections that support learning for all.
